BREAKING: Osinbajo in meeting with Magu, acting DSS DG

The Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, is presently in a closed-door meeting with Ibrahim Magu, Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Also at the meeting is the new acting DG of the Department of State Services (DSS), Matthew Seiyefa, according to Channels Television.

The meeting is coming after Osinbajo, on Tuesday, fired Daura.

This came after a meeting with him and the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The two security chiefs, who arrived Aso Rock at different times, were to update the acting president on security developments including the blockade of the National Assembly by security officials.

Recall that the DSS officials had stormed the premises in the early hours of Tuesday, barricading the entrance and preventing the lawmakers from entering.
