BREAKING: APC extends Oyegun’s tenure

The All Progressives Congress, APC, national chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun-led National Executive Committee has been given one year extension to be in office.

This decision was arrived at during the national executive committee, NEC, meeting of the party holding in Abuja.

The meeting was attended by President Muhammadu Buhari and other party bigwigs.

The extension is effective from June this year when the lifespan of the current NWC is expected to expire.

The Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki was reported absent at the National Caucus.

Aside Buhari, top government officials and APC chieftains at the meeting are Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Odigie-Oyegun, Speaker of the Hose of Reps, Yakubu Dogara and other members of the National Assembly.

Also present at the meeting were ministers, governors and APC stalwarts from the 36 states of the federation.
