Borno State Assembly Member-Elect Dr. Nuhu Clark Passes Away in India

Dr. Nuhu Clark, a former Borno State Commissioner for Poverty Alleviation and newly-elected State House Assembly member for Chibok Local Government Area, has died in India after battling a long-term illness.

A family member disclosed that Dr. Clark had been hospitalized for several months in India before succumbing to his illness on Tuesday evening. The source shared, “With total submission to the will of God, I announce to the House the death of Hon Dr. Nuhu Clark, an elder brother to our Chairperson Ladi Clark (Mrs). The sad event occurred today in India, where he was receiving treatment.”

Before his passing, Dr. Clark had served as Chairman of Chibok LGA, Commissioner in the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation, and was a member-elect representing the Chibok LGA Constituency in the Borno State House of Assembly.
