This is following the death of 30 people in Borno state at the hands of Boko Haram insurgents,
The Green Chamber following the adoption of a motion moved by the Chief Whip of the House, Muhammed Monguno reached the resolution on Wednesday.
DAILY POST reported that 30 people were killed and 18 vehicles destroyed by Boko Haram militants who stormed Auno along the Maiduguri – Damaturu road at about 9:50pm on Sunday.
Monguno in his motion blamed the partial curfew for the attacks, and called “on the House to ask the military to stop the curfew.”
Contributing to the motion, the deputy minority leader, Ndudi Elumelu said he stands by the call for the sack of Service Chiefs.
“I still stand by that call that the Service Chiefs have overstayed their leave. Our brothers and sisters who voted us in must be protected. Mr. Speaker, if care is not taken one day our brothers will match in here and ask us to leave due to what is currently going on in the country.
