The statement disclosed that security agencies have been directed to investigate and prosecute any one found complicit.

It observed that, “Kaduna State government received reports of an act of lawlessness and political thuggery during a political meeting at the instance of a serving lawmaker and associates.

“The government of Kaduna State condemned in strong terms, this unfortunate which is undemocratic and contrary to democratic principles.

“Security agencies have been directed to investigate the incidence and take necessary action to prosecute anyone indicted.”

Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi on Sunday in Kaduna escaped being killed by thugs during a political gathering of stakeholders and leaders of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, in Kaduna State.
