Atiku reacts to death of Bauchi students

Atiku Abubakar, former Vice President, has reacted to the death of over 20 students from Bauchi who died on their way for an excursion in Kano on Tuesday.

The students and three teachers died on Tuesday in a fatal accident on their way from Kano after an excursion.

The bus conveying the victims collided head-on with an articulated vehicle along Kano to Gaya road in Kano state, resulting in the death of 11 male and 10 female students, as well as their teachers.

The Waziri of Adamawa said the death was saddening and regrettable.

In a tweet, the Peoples Democratic Party chieftain wrote, ” we lost 22 students in a road carnage is so saddening and very regrettable. I condole with parents and guardians of these pupils.

”May God accept these young souls and heal the hearts of the bereaved families and friends. Ameen.”
