Aguero escapes FA action after scuffle with Wigan fan

Manchester City striker, Sergio Ageuro, will not face any charges from the Football Association, following his involvement in a fracas with Wigan Athletic fans .

The incident happened after Monday night’s FA Cup clash which City lost 1-0.

Aguero was approached by a small number of fans and was seen jostling with them, seemingly after being provoked, before he was pulled away from the scene.

The FA has been in discussions with Manchester City and Wigan throughout Tuesday and have decided not to punish Aguero.

However, the pitch invasion by the home supporters is still under investigation.

City and Aguero are also considering legal action against one fan, who they allege hit the striker, spat at him and said “suck my d***’.
