2019: Why I must be Plateau governor – Senator Jeremiah Useni

Jeremiah Useni, Senator representing Plateau South, on Wednesday reiterated his desire to contest the state’s governorship election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The lawmaker made the declaration at the party’s state secretariat in Jos, Plateau State.

Useni said his aim of vying for the governorship seat was to restore peace in the state.

According to Useni, “I want to restore peace and justice to Plateau. I want to restore unity, love, dignity and prosperity to Plateau. I also want to restore the vision of its founding fathers.

“Plateau belongs to us and our task is to make it a great place; that is what I want to do.”

He, however, warned his followers against any form of violence during the course of the campaign.
