Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has revealed real reasons the Federal Government approved $1 billion for the procurement of security equipment to fight Boko Haram insurgency.

The PDP chieftain claimed that the said sum will be used to fund President Buhari’s 2019 re-election campaign.”

According to him, the abducted Dapchi Girls was only stage-managed by the government to justify the release of the money so it could be diverted for re-election campaigns.

Fani on Twitter wrote: ” It is common knowledge, and I wrote it at the time, that Dapchi had one purpose:it was stage-managed by the govt. to justify the release of yet another $1 billion dollars to “fight Boko Haram.”

”Truth is the money will be used, not for Boko Haram, but to fund Buhari’s 2019 re-election campaign.”
