New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) says it will soon receive about 20,000 All Progressive Congress (APC) members into its fold in Bauchi state

Bauchi state chairman of the party, Engineer Mohammed Barde confirmed this to DAILY POST in an interview.

“The APC members have approached us in the NNPP that they want to cease being members of the ruling party.

“The linked their decision to the drama of Dapchi girls especially where only a Christian girl Leah Sharibu is still in captivity. That shows clear irresponsibility of the ruling party”, Barde fumed

The chairman added that arrangements have been put in place to receive the defectors in grand style in the state capital.

He assured that NNPP will unseat President Muhammdu Buhari to mark the end of “political abduction” in Nigeria.

“APC has done nothing to convince Nigerians that the party and its agents are innocent of the Dapchi saga.

“Security were deliberately withdrawn to allow the dastard act occur under Buhari’s watch. This is insensitivity”.

The NNPP said the party has space to embrace many to its fold and urged Nigerians to vote out APC in the 2019 election.
