Senate President, Bukola Saraki has hailed Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom for his courage and determination.
Saraki said Ortom’s boldness to dump the All Progressives Congress, APC, was commendable.
The Senate President made this remark on Thursday at the 81st National Executive Council meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
“I want to specifically congratulate Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State. Governor Ortom, I commend you for your courage and determination,” Saraki said.
Earlier, DAILY POST reported that Ortom and others were given a rousing welcome upon their arrival at the Wadata Plaza, national Secretariat of the former ruling party.
