What Kogi government wants to do me – Dino Melaye

Dino Melaye, Senator representing Kogi West, on Monday raised the alarm over an alleged plot by his state government to frame him up.

The lawmaker alleged thatthe Kogi State government was plotting to frame him up for murder.

In a tweet, Melaye disclosed that the state government was plotting to bombard him with cases using the police and the Attorney General of the Federation, AGF.

Melaye wrote: “Kogi State govt trying to frame me up again for murder in the 2nd Assassination attempt on my life on June 12 2017 in lokoja.

“Fools always forget the God factor in the affairs of men. Their design is to bombard me with cases using the Police and AGF. I refuse to be intimidated.”

Recall that the lawmaker had in April, 2017 allegedly escaped death by the whiskers after gunmen invaded his country home in Ayetoro-Gbede area of Kogi State.

Following the said allegation, Federal Government in February 2018, filed a two-count charge against the Senator for allegedly giving false information to the police.
