[VIDEO] 2019 elections: Dino Melaye reveals reason Buhari must visit London hospital

Dino Melaye, the Senator representing Kogi West, has disclosed that President Muhammadu Buhari must visit his hospital in London, UK, because of his remarks on ballot box snatching.

Melaye stated this while appearing on Channels Television on Tuesday evening.

“That statement from Mr. President is a serious confirmation that Mr. President has to visit London again, because it is not expected from any rationally thinking, intellectually mobile leader,” the lawmaker said.

When reprimanded by the host Seun Okin, Melaye insisted “I am not being insolent at all”.

Buhari, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), spent over 170 days in a London hospital, to treat an undisclosed ailment.

On Monday, the president said he has ordered security agencies, to ensure the general election goes on smoothly.

Speaking at the party’s caucus meeting on Monday, Buhari made it clear that anyone who tries to disrupt the electoral process, will be doing so “at the expense of his own life”.

“I will warn those who has planned to disrupt the peaceful elections to desist from their planned actions.

“Anyone who tries that is doing it at the expense of his own life,” President Buhari said.
