Transfer news: Mourinho speaks on Zlatan’s move away from Manchester United

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho says he won’t stand in striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s way if the Swede international wants to leave the club for LA Galaxy.

Zlatan, 36, could leave United before his contract expires at the end of this season, if he accepts an offer from an American or Chinese side.

“Zlatan is in the last year of contract. If – I’m saying if, if, if – I repeat he’s said nothing about it to me,” Mourinho said.

“But if, if, if that is true and Zlatan wants a future in another club in another country then I give to help and create conditions for that to happen to not make his life difficult.

“But I repeat the only thing Zlatan told – or the last thing Zlatan told me – was that he wants to recover totally and feel ready to help the team. That’s the last thing I heard from him.”
