Transfer: Coutinho’s Barcelona future uncertain as Griezmann takes his No.7 shirt

Philippe Coutinho is now numberless at Barcelona as new signing, Antoine Griezmann, has taken the number 7 shirt, AS reports.

The Spanish champions confirmed Griezmann’s transfer from Atletico Madrid on Friday.

The announcement was made after the French forward’s lawyers showed up at La Liga’s headquarters today, to pay his €120m (£107m) buy-out clause.

Griezmann’s arrival leaves Coutinho’s future at the Camp Nou up in the air, with the club trying to force him out to balance their books.

Coutinho has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain and a return to Liverpool from where he moved to Barca in January 2018.
