Oyegun incompetent, I will never vote for him – Joe Igbokwe

Joe Igbokwe, the Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has said he will never vote for the embattled National Chairman of the party, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun.

The APC chieftain stated this while speaking to newsmen in Lagos in response to reports that some governors loyal to Chief John Odigie-Oyegun have begun moves to get him another four-year mandate.

It would be recalled that the governors after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari made known their decision of supporting the president against the extension of Oyegun’s tenure.

Stating reasons why he will never support Oyegun for another term, Igbokwe described him as a very incompetent leader.

He said “He is free to contest. Whether he will win is another thing. The man is very incompetent and people like me will never vote him.

“He had problems in almost 11 states controlled by the APC. He was unable to resolve anyone until Asiwaju was appointed. He now started running helter-skelter to go and form committee thereby compounding the problems. The man is just incompetent,” Igbokwe said.
