Oshiomhole stated this during an interview on Channels Television, while reacting to recent remarks made by Obasanjo, where he accused President Muhammadu Buhari of taking Nigeria back to an era of impunity.
Obasanjo also said Buhari has returned the nation to the era, when state institutions were used to fight perceived enemies of the government.
The former Governor of Edo state, however, disagreed that the country is drifting into a dictatorial state.
“Obasanjo can’t look me in the eyes and say those things, he is a worse dictator, he was worse than Abacha,” Oshiomhole said.
Oshiomhole also slammed Obasanjo, saying he was president for eight years and could not fix Nigeria, adding that “we are saying Buhari should fix Nigeria in three and half years”.
