Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has stated that the payment of June 2018 salaries to all categories of workers in the state will be done immediately after the resolution of issues surrounding the Federal Account Allocation Committee, FAAC.

Ortom, who stated this on Sunday at the House On the Rock Ministries in Makurdi during a child dedication by the resident pastor, Reverend Abel Uloko, noted that Pay Vouchers were ready and payment would be done without delay when the allocation comes.

The Governor said, “issues of payment of salary arrears and insecurity in the state would be a thing of the past with time, nothing is impossible before God.

“God’s judgment would surely be pronounced upon mischief makers in the country when the blood of those killed by militia herdsmen cry to God.”

Ortom noted that he would continue to speak out until Benue people and Nigerians get justice.

The Governor expressed delight over the exploits young men were making in the Lord’s vineyard, adding that Nigeria and indeed Africa is being evangelised through Benue as prophesized by a man of God in 1979.

In a remark, Pastor Abel Uloko said Governor Ortom had demystified greatness and the euphoria of his office to signify simplicity, adding that God would use the Governor as an instrument to transmit His glory in the state.
