Obasanjo a reputable international ambassador – Iyiola Omisore

Former Deputy Governor of Osun State, Senator Iyiola Omisore on Monday described former President Olusegun Obasanjo as a reputable “international ambassador and father of Nigeria”.

Omisore in a congratulatory message signed by him, a copy of which was mailed to DAILY POST also described the former President as “one of the stabilizing forces sustaining the reigning peaceful co existence among Nigerians”.

The former Governorship candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State stressed in the congratulatory message that “Chief Obasanjo is a pure detrabilize Nigerian who has on many occasions demonstrated his love for the oneness of the country by always seen Nigeria as one and indivisible entity through his actions, words and belief”.

He said “I am using this time to congratulate our Baba, the former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Aremu Okikiola Obasanjo on his 81st year birthday celebration. No doubt, Baba has contributed and is still contributing immensely to the growth and development of Nigeria as a country, Africa as a continent and the world.

“Chief Obasanjo stands out as a leading figure in the sustainanance of peace,unity and stability of Nigeria as well as other countries in the whole of Africa continent”.

Senator Omisore emphasized that former President Obasanjo as an International figure despite his age
had been playing tremendous roles in preaching, sustaining as well as entrenching peace and good governance in and across the world.

“Baba Olusegun Obasanjo is really a blessing to us in Nigeria and the entire world in general.

“These, he has been showing in the past years which I am sure he is ready to be doing and continue to do to ensure that peace and stability continue to reign supreme across the world”, he said.

Omisore while praying God to continue to grant Chief Obasanjo good health and more wisdom to discharged his much cherished leadership roles to Nigeria and Nigerians as well as the entire world all over, urged the former President to continue to be an inspirational force and source of motivation and joy to the humanity.

He said “It is my prayers that God almighty will continue to protect and keep Baba, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo for us in Nigeria as a worthy and dependable leader. Once again Sir, I am wishing you happy birthday and many happy returns of the day”.
