Nigeria vs Serbia: What Rohr told Super Eagles players after defeat in London

[ad_1]

Head coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, has said that his team would have learnt lessons from their 2-0 loss to Serbia, in an international friendly on Tuesday night.

Aleksandar Mitrovic scored twice at The Hive Stadium in London to condemn Rohr to his second defeat in charge of the former African champions.

“Rohr commended the boys and urged them not to drop their heads because no football team in the world wins all their games.

“The coach told the team they should learn from this defeat but not suck, but rather go back to their clubs and keep fighting.

“He said what was most important after such a loss is how you react, he said we have to bounce back,” media officer of the Eagles, Toyin Ibitoye, told reporters.

Rohr has won eight matches and drawn four since he was appointed 20 months ago.
