Kano guber: 43 political parties endorse Ganduje for Saturday’s election

Ahead of Saturday’s election, no fewer than 43 political parties Thursday threw their weight behind the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate in Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje.

They spoke through their spokesman and gubernatorial candidate of United People’s Congress, UPC, Ambassador Ibrahim Gaya, during a breakfast meeting held at the state’s Government House.

Gaya enjoined their members to vote en mass for Ganduje during the Saturday election.

According to Gaya: ”We have dropped our contest and unanimously decided to endorsed the Candidature of Governor Ganduje in order for him to accomplish his mission of staging a comeback and consolidate on socio economic development of the state.”

Reacting at the development, Ganduje said his reason for inviting the gubernatorial candidates to the Government House was to create mutual understanding between the political parties in the state so as to demonstrate love and unity of purpose among them as candidates of divergent political leanings.

The governor stated that the idea this time around is to curtail unnecessary political bickering that permeates the system and introduce a new innovation that will eliminate do or die politics in the nation’s democracy.
