INEC releases ballot boxes sample for presidential, senatorial, Reps elections [PHOTO]

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Monday released photos of sample ballot boxes for the 2019 general elections.

The sample were posted in a tweet via INEC verified Twitter handle.

It showed prototype and colours of boxes to be used for the presidential, senatorial, House of Representatives elections on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Mohammed Adamu, has ordered a comprehensive water-tight and around-the-clock security for all INEC, offices and facilities across the country.

Adamu also directed Commissioners of Police in all states and the FCT to put in place adequate security arrangements aimed at protecting all INEC offices and materials from all forms of crimes and mischief, before, during and after the elections.

FPRO, Frank Mba disclosed, in a statement, said Zonal Assistant Inspectors General of Police (AIGs) have also been mandated to monitor compliance level of Commands under their jurisdiction with this directive, and ensure that no breach of security of any kind occurs within and around INEC facilities under their watch.
