<\/p>\nGovernor Ibikunle Amosun led the APM party officials to the Presidential Villa on Monday where they presented a letter of adoption to President Buhari.<\/p>\n
Speaking with State House correspondents, the APM boss explained that the adoption was just a formality.<\/p>\n
He said, \u201cPersonally, I believe in him and the reason being that I love my country and I don\u2019t have any other country apart from Nigeria. And Buhari is the only man with the sincerity of intent to take Nigeria to the next level.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is not the Nigeria I was born into but I see that Nigeria coming back only through Buhari.\u201d<\/p>\n
Dantalle further stated as a coalition of like minds, the party\u2019s National Executive Council, NEC, took the decision to adopt Buhari because he is the only one that can restore Nigeria back to its glory of where it needs to be.<\/p>\n
\u201cBuhari is giving us back the Nigeria of our dream,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n
On why the party did not adopt Buhari in 2015, Dantalle recalled that APM supported him up till the election.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was when the door was closed to us that we have to find a way but does not foreclose my support for His Excellency,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
