{"id":70757,"date":"2018-12-18T09:31:52","date_gmt":"2018-12-18T08:31:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=70757"},"modified":"2018-12-18T09:36:02","modified_gmt":"2018-12-18T08:36:02","slug":"kaduna-crisis-state-council-deploys-troops-to-jemaa-community","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=70757","title":{"rendered":"Kaduna crisis: State council deploys troops to Jema\u2019a community"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/arewa.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/1524765145_troops.jpg\"><\/p>\n<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">Following the Sunday evening attack and killings by suspected gunmen in Jema\u2019a Local Government Area of Kaduna State, the state government has deployed troops to Ungwan Pa-Gwandara area of the state.<\/p>\n<p>This was made known in a statement issued and signed by the Senior Special Assistance to Governor Nasir Elrufai on Media and Publicity, Mr. Samuel Aruwan.<\/p>\n<p>He said, \u201cStatement from the Kaduna State Security Council stated that the deployment of troops is intended to further secure the area and provide the atmosphere for extensive investigation of the sad incident, and the apprehension and prosecution of the culprits.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCondemning the attack, Governor Nasir El-Rufai said that criminal elements must not be allowed to divide people and wantonly take lives. The governor has sent a message of condolence to the community, expressing his deep sadness at the loss of lives and his sympathy for the victims and their families.\u201d He said<\/p>\n<p>According to him, \u201cThe government also urged that anybody with useful information on the attack to kindly contact the security agencies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe statement added that the governor has also directed Jema\u2019a local government council and the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) to, as a matter of urgency, work towards taking care of victims receiving medical attention and provide relief materials to the community.\u201d\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Following the Sunday evening attack and killings by suspected gunmen in Jema\u2019a Local Government Area of Kaduna State, the state government has deployed troops to Ungwan Pa-Gwandara area of the state.
