<\/p>\nThe Gan Fulani association said in a statement, on Sunday, that \u201call necessary logistics have been put in place to make sure there\u2019s peace between farmers and herdsmen in Ekiti State.\u201d<\/p>\n
He said the Fulani in the state believed \u201cin the safety of Ekiti State and Nigeria at large.\u201d<\/p>\n
GAFDAN, a Fulani socio-cultural group, in the statement signed by its Ekiti State Chairman, Alhaji Issa Adamu, said its members were for peaceful co-existence and overall socio-economic development of the state and Nigeria.<\/p>\n
They expressed the belief in the administration of Governor Kayode Fayemi and pleaded their support for the administration \u201cas it brings about overall development of the state.\u201d<\/p>\n
They congratulated Governor Fayemi and his deputy, Chief Bisi Egbeyemi, saying \u201cwe surely believe that the new government will better the lives of Ekiti people.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to them, \u201cthe yearnings and aspirations of Ekitis will come true under the leadership of Dr Fayemi as his wealth of education and experience will make him perform credibly well.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe thank Ekiti sons and daughters for bringing Dr Kayode Fayemi back as the governor.<\/p>\n
\u201cHis return is for betterment of Ekiti people and the workers in the state. We are persuaded that he has what it takes to make Ekiti truly developed and transformed.\u201d<\/p>\n
In the statement, GAFDAN also passed a vote of confidence on President Muhammadu Buhari, saying his administration had \u201cperformed credibly well.\u201d<\/p>\n
The group called on Nigerians to vote for continuity of \u201cthe achievements by the Buhari administration between 2015 and 2018,\u201d saying \u201cBuhari is an experienced politician and retired General that understands the aspiration of the average Nigerian.\u201d<\/p>\n
They also contended that Buhari had \u201cgiven corruption a good fight in our country, resulting in no more capital flight in our land.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to them, \u201cthe country\u2019s resources that some shared in the past has become a thing of history since Buhari became the president. And now, we have something to show as foreign reserves unlike before.\u201d\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
