{"id":70015,"date":"2018-12-15T11:00:19","date_gmt":"2018-12-15T10:00:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=70015"},"modified":"2018-12-15T11:01:59","modified_gmt":"2018-12-15T10:01:59","slug":"vp-debate-peter-obi-speaks-on-falling-out-with-atiku","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=70015","title":{"rendered":"VP debate: Peter Obi speaks on falling out with Atiku"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/arewa.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/AtikuObi-ticket-Why-Igbo-will-not-give-PDP-block-vote-in-2019-Biafra-group.jpg\"><\/p>\n<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">The Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi, has insisted he will never fall out with the party\u2019s presidential flagbearer, Atiku Abubakar.<\/p>\n<p>Obi stated this, while speaking during Friday\u2019s vice-presidential debate.<\/p>\n<p>When asked about Nigeria\u2019s major problem and how he will ensure it is eradicted if elected, the former Anambra State Governor replied: \u201cThe main problem of this country is it\u2019s economy. The Vice President\u2019s role is the economy, debt management.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will be working together to make Nigeria work again, so there\u2019s no way I will fall out with Atiku.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The debate was put together by the Nigerian Election Debate Group, NEDG and the Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria, BON.<\/p>\n<p>The parties represented were: Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN), Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN), All Progressives Congress (APC), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Young Progressives Party (YPP).<\/p>\n<p>Others who participated were: Yemi Osinbajo (APC), Umma Getso (YPP), Alhaji Abdulganiyu Galadima (ACPN) and Khadijah Abdullahi-Iya (ANN).\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi, has insisted he will never fall out with the party\u2019s presidential flagbearer, Atiku Abubakar.
