The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) said it had arrested a man with fake military uniform and 218 kilogramme of substance suspected to be Indian Hemp in Niger.<\/p>\n

The agency\u2019s Commander in the state, Mrs Sylvia Egwunwoke, told News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Minna on Tuesday that the suspected was nabbed in Makwa, Makwa Local Government Area of the state.<\/p>\n

She said that the drug was concealed in a Toyota Camry car with registration number KWL 874 FH at Makwa town, adding that the suspect was stopped at Jebba check point but refused to stop.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur personnel, unknown to him were following him and was arrested where he stopped to eat at Makwa town,\u2019\u2019 Egwunwoke said.<\/p>\n

She said that the suspect would be charged to court after investigation.<\/p>\n

The commander appealed to the state government to provide patrol vehicles to pave way for the arrest of all those involved in illegal trades.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe interception of these concealment have in no small measure prevented the risk of having such large quantity of this deadly substance in circulation in our midst,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

She said that the command had resolved to ensure that the \u201cmerchants of death\u2019\u2019 were chased out of the state through aggressive security measures that would stem their nefarious activities.\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
