{"id":68672,"date":"2018-12-11T00:04:57","date_gmt":"2018-12-10T23:04:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=68672"},"modified":"2018-12-11T07:49:17","modified_gmt":"2018-12-11T06:49:17","slug":"2019-presidency-only-corrupt-nigerians-are-afraid-of-buharis-re-election-apc-chieftain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=68672","title":{"rendered":"2019 Presidency: Only corrupt Nigerians are afraid of Buhari\u2019s re-election &#8211; APC chieftain"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/arewa.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Buhari-at-the-villa.jpg\"><\/p>\n<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">Chief Nathaniel Odebunmi, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Egbeda Local Government Area of Oyo State, says only corrupt Nigerians are afraid of the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari.<\/p>\n<p>Odebunmi, who stated this on Monday in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria, (NAN) in Ibadan, urged Nigerians to support the re-election of the president so as to end corruption in the country.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the Buhari administration had done well in the fight against corruption, as well as improved security and the economy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dThe effect of the corruption war is biting harder on the beneficiaries of the scourge and that is the reason they are against the re-election of the president.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dEvery Nigerian that wants the development of the country should support the re-election of Buhari.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dWe should not allow those that ruined the nation\u2019s economy through embezzlement of the national wealth to come back.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNigerians should not be deceived by propaganda and false publications against Buhari\u2019s administration but focus on the achievements,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Odebunmi assured the people of Oyo state that an APC government would continue to cater for their well-being if returned to power in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>He urged the electorate to guard their Permanent Voter Cards and shun the temptation of selling their votes during the elections.\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Chief Nathaniel Odebunmi, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Egbeda Local Government Area of Oyo State, says only corrupt Nigerians are afraid of the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari.
