Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho has named the Red Devils\u2019 shot-stopper, David De Gea as the best goalkeeper in the world.<\/p>\n

Mourinho said this following his side\u2019s 1-0 victory over Young Boys in the Champions League fixture played on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

De Gea\u2019s contract at Old Trafford will expire at the end of the season but Mourinho wants United\u2019s hierarchy to extend the Spaniard\u2019s deal.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know he [De Gea] wants to stay,\u201d Metro UK quoted Mourinho as saying.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know his agent is happy to do what the player wants and I also know that the board wants him to stay and they are working on that. So hopefully, sooner or later, they arrive at a good conclusion.<\/p>\n

\u201cWithout David\u2019s save, there would be no winning goal. He\u2019s the best goalkeeper in the world and if our ambitions are to be a big club, a winning club you need the best goalkeeper in the world.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou also need some other best players [in their position] in the world, in this case we only have the best goalkeeper in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n
