{"id":64107,"date":"2018-11-24T12:19:01","date_gmt":"2018-11-24T11:19:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=64107"},"modified":"2018-11-24T12:19:46","modified_gmt":"2018-11-24T11:19:46","slug":"2019-presidency-apc-warns-pdp-over-negative-propaganda-against-buhari","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=64107","title":{"rendered":"2019 Presidency: APC warns PDP over negative propaganda against Buhari"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/arewa.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/1528474096_buhari.jpg\"><\/p>\n<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Support Group, has warned the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, against sponsoring negative propaganda against the president ahead of the 2019 general elections.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Kassim Kassim, the National Secretary of the group, issued the warning in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Abuja,<\/p>\n<p>According to him, PDP was doing using its machineries within and outside the country to concoct negative stories about the president.<\/p>\n<p>Kassim maintained that the antic would not in any way improve the PDP\u2019s chances in the 2019 elections as Nigerians were wise enough to differentiate between falsehood and truth.<\/p>\n<p>He, however, urged members of the ruling party to discard antics of PDP and remain steadfast and continue to work hard to ensure the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Kassim, also a member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly added: \u201cI urge those that are opposed to Buhari`s policies and re-election bid to desist from such act as he remained the best president for the country at the moment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cpoliticians should focus their electioneering campaigns ahead of the elections on issues rather than on individuals and avoid heating up the polity with incisive statements.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSome members of the PDP are even working behind the scene to ensure the re-election of Buhari.\u201d\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Support Group, has warned the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, against sponsoring negative propaganda against the president ahead of the 2019 general elections.
