Shehu Sani, the Senator representing Kaduna Central has waded into the controversy on the plans by the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Atiku Abubakar to sell off public companies.<\/p>\n

Atiku had during an interview vowed to sell off 90% of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) corporation and privatize it if elected as President.<\/p>\n

He explained that he will privatize parts of NNPC because it has been \u201cbeset by decades of mismanagement and is crucial to OPEC member\u2019s economic fortunes.<\/p>\n

Atiku has since then come under attack.<\/p>\n

However, Sani, reacting, urged those criticising Atiku to also \u2018throw mud at his accomplices in the ruling party.\u2019<\/p>\n

According to him, his accomplices are members of the All Progressives Congress, APC.<\/p>\n

The Kaduna lawmaker wrote: \u201cAs you continue to throw mud on the ex-Vice President for his role in auctioning our public owned companies, don\u2019t forget to throw some on \u2018his accomplices\u2019 who now occupy the comfortable seat of saints in the ruling party, in Nigeria\u2019s prevailing priggish and sententious politics.\u201d\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
