Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho has identified Napoli and Senegalese defender, Kalidou Koulibaly, as his side\u2019s top transfer target in January.<\/p>\n

Recall that Mourinho had angled for Toby Alderweireld, Harry Maguire, Yerry Mina, Jerome Boateng and Diego Godin as centre-back targets last summer, but the club refused to pursue any of them.<\/p>\n

According to Metro UK, the 55-year-old Portuguese has now proposed a move for Koulibaly.<\/p>\n

The report claimed that the former Chelsea manager is keen on bolstering his back-line with the \u00a388 million-rated center-back who recently extended his stay with Napoli till 2022.<\/p>\n

The report also claimed that United will have to battle Barcelona, who are also interested in signing Koulibaly.<\/p>\n

Mourinho\u2019s side have conceded 21 goals in 12 Premier League games so far this season.<\/p>\n
