{"id":61401,"date":"2018-11-14T16:40:35","date_gmt":"2018-11-14T15:40:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=61401"},"modified":"2018-11-14T16:41:04","modified_gmt":"2018-11-14T15:41:04","slug":"3-suspected-kidnappers-arrested-in-niger","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=61401","title":{"rendered":"3 suspected kidnappers arrested in Niger"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/arewa.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/NSCDC-j.jpg\"><\/p>\n<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) in Niger State has arrested three suspected kidnappers in Pandagori in Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State.<\/p>\n<p>The state Corps Commandant, Mr Philip Ayuba who paraded the suspects before newsmen on Wednesday, said they had been terrorising residents of the area for some time.<\/p>\n<p>According to NAN, Ayuba said that the operatives of the command rounded up the suspects in their hideout in Pantogari town, following an intelligence report.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that the suspects, in their confessional statements, said they were in Pantogora to perfect their strategy to kidnap Alhaji Adamu Hassan while demanding N10 million as ransom.<\/p>\n<p>He said that the three suspects later agreed for N4 million, failure of which the victim would be killed.<\/p>\n<p>The commandant also stated that one of the suspects had worked for the victim where 150 cows and 170 sheep were stolen from him.<br \/>\n\u201cAll the three suspects confessed to the crime and would be charged to court after investigation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cExhibits found in their possession included a mobile phone with six sim cards of different networks,\u201d he said.\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) in Niger State has arrested three suspected kidnappers in Pandagori in Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State.
