Suspected ritualists early this morning beheaded a man yet to be identified at Scot area of Oghara community, which is the hometown of ex-governor James Ibori in Ethiope-West Local Government Area of Delta State, DAILY POST can report.<\/p>\n

DAILY POST reports that the vital organs of the deceased man were severed off by the suspected ritualists.<\/p>\n

As of the time of filing this report, the police in Oghara, in collaboration with the vigilante, are making efforts to evacuate the remains of the deceased man.<\/p>\n

Residents were also seen having a glimpse of the lifeless body of the victim.<\/p>\n

The incident, it was learnt, has sparked serious tension in the area as many now fear for dear life.<\/p>\n

When contacted, the Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Muhammad Mustafa, confirmed the report.<\/p>\n

CP Mustafa said, \u201cIt\u2019s true, someone was killed. Police is on top of the matter.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are working in concert with vigilante and other community security outfits to unravel what really happened and arrest the culprits behind the killing.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, many people, who craved anonymity, said the man may have been beheaded by Yahoo boys.<\/p>\n

They said in recent times, the activities of Yahoo boys in Oghara, Mosogar, Jesse, Sapele, Oviorie, Okpe ,Ughelli, Agbarho have been very alarming.<\/p>\n

They called on the police to do a thorough job to unravel those who killed the man as well as the 65-year-old woman who was recently beheaded in Oghara community.\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
