El-Rufai under fire for attacking Peter Obi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/arewa.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/El-rufai2.jpg\"><\/p>\n<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">The Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai has come under attack from a major supporter of the former governor of Anambra State, and vice presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Peter Obi.<\/p>\n<p>El-Rufai had in a tweet called Obi a religious bigot for seeking to restrict his movement in Anambra, during a governorship election in the state in 2013.<\/p>\n<p>El-Rufai\u2019s latest attacker is the former governorship candidate of PDP in the 2018 governorship election, Mr Oseloka Obaze.<\/p>\n<p>Obaze, who fired a tweet at El-Rufai, said, \u201cGovernor Nasir El-Rufai\u2019s use of fighting words against Peter Obi goes beyond acceptable political rhetorics and is most regrettable.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo amount of partisan politics or schism can justify or legitimize such hate speech and inciting utterances.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>El-Rufai has been previously attacked over his comment by known PDP stalwarts as Femi Fani-Kayode, Kola Ologbondiyan, among others.\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai has come under attack from a major supporter of the former governor of Anambra State, and vice presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Peter Obi.
