The convoy of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Rivers State, Tonye Cole has killed two people.<\/p>\n

The incident occurred in Abua\/Odual community of the state on Friday.<\/p>\n

Security vehicles caused the accident during Cole\u2019s familiarization tour of the area.<\/p>\n

One of the them suddenly applied break, causing the vehicle to skid off the road and crash into some villagers, including a motorcycle operator.<\/p>\n

One person was seriously injured and hospitalised.<\/p>\n

Spokesman of the state police command, Nnamdi Omoni, a Deputy Suprindentent of Police (DSP), confirmed the incident.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can confirm that one of the security vehicles in the convoy of the governorship candidate of the APC, Tonye Cole was involved in a fatal accident today(yesterday), on their way to Abua\/Odual LGA and two persons were confirmed dead and their bodies have been deposited in the morgue.<\/p>\n
