Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State has described Peter Obi, the running mate of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, as a tribal bigot.<\/p>\n

El-Rufai recalled that Obi supported his (El-Rufai\u2019s) arrest by the Department of State Services, DSS in 2014 on the ground that \u201cEl-Rufai has no business being in Anambra State as it is not Katsina State.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Governor stated that voting Atiku and Obi into power will bring about division in the country.<\/p>\n

He tweeted, \u201cPeter Obi is a tribal bigot. He was widely quoted on national television that the SSS was right to detain me for 48 hours in an hotel in 2014 on the grounds that \u201dEl-Rufai has no business being in Anambra State as it is not Katsina State!\u201d<\/p>\n
