The All Progressives Congress, APC, House of Assembly candidate for Umuahia north constituency in Abia state, Nwabueze Onwuneme, has cried out over alleged vandalization of opposition politicians\u2019 billboards, posters and banners by the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP-led administration in the state.<\/p>\n

Onwuneme, who spoke in an interview with newsmen on Thursday, described the continued act as barbaric and witch-hunting.<\/p>\n

He specifically accused the majority leader of the Abia House of Assembly, Chinedum Orji, of ordering thugs to destroy all billboards belonging to APC, President Muhammadu Buhari, and himself.<\/p>\n

The candidate appealed to security agencies to call members of the ruling PDP in the state to order.<\/p>\n

He said, \u201cIntelligence report getting to me states that the majority leader of the Abia state House of Assembly has ordered the vandalization of my banners and billboard.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese directive is a total wicked slaughter of the oppositions in Abia and President Muhammadu Buhari.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe PDP also ordered that all APC\u2019s candidates\u2019 billboards, most especially the ones that has President Buhari all over the state, be pulled down.\u201d<\/p>\n
