{"id":59035,"date":"2018-11-06T16:39:43","date_gmt":"2018-11-06T15:39:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=59035"},"modified":"2018-11-06T16:40:11","modified_gmt":"2018-11-06T15:40:11","slug":"ekiti-pdp-rejects-olujimi-restores-fayose-as-leader","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=59035","title":{"rendered":"Ekiti PDP Rejects Olujimi, Restores Fayose As Leader"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><span class=\"ds-1col file file-image file-image-jpeg view-mode-embedded centered clearfix block-story-object block-story-object-resource block-story-object-resource-image\"><br \/>\n<span class=\"block-story-object-asset\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"media-element file-embedded\" typeof=\"foaf:Image\" src=\"http:\/\/arewa.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Ekiti-PDP-Rejects-Olujimi-Restores-Fayose-As-Leader.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"container container-pod container-pod-short\"><span class=\"adunit-parent hide block-module block-module-ad block-module-ad-300x250\"><span class=\"block-module-image-wrapper\"><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The SEC dissociated itself from the purported stakeholders\u2019 meeting which had earlier declared the Senate Minority Whip, Senator Biodun Olujimi, as the party leader.<\/p>\n<p>The SEC is the highest organ of the party in the state which comprised the State Working Committee, party chairmen and secretaries at local governments and wards and elected public office holders among others.<\/p>\n<p>In a communique issued at the end of its meeting in Ado Ekiti, the SEC alleged that Olujimi and a former PDP\u2019s state secretary, Dr. Tope Aluko, were agents of the All Progressives Congress causing destabilization in the PDP.<\/p>\n<p>Aluko had led some aggrieved PDP members to invade the party\u2019s secretariat on Ajilosun Road, Ado Ekiti on Thursday, accusing the state executive members of making suspicious withdrawals from the party\u2019s account.<\/p>\n<p>In the communique made available to journalists on Monday, the SEC, while condemning the invasion, restated the expulsion of Aluko from the party.<\/p>\n<p>The communique added, \u201cThat any facilitation of crisis in the party this time of approaching election is regarded as an anti-party activity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat the promoters of the crisis are agents of APC government employed to destabilize the party in the run-up to the presidential election.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPDP in Ekiti State under the leadership of Gboyega Oguntuase is committed to the success of all its candidates in the coming elections especially our presidential candidate, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat we affirm and believe in the leadership of Dr Ayodele Fayose.\u201d<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The SEC dissociated itself from the purported stakeholders\u2019 meeting which had earlier declared the Senate Minority Whip, Senator Biodun Olujimi, as the party leader.
