{"id":58672,"date":"2018-11-05T15:08:42","date_gmt":"2018-11-05T14:08:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=58672"},"modified":"2018-11-05T15:09:10","modified_gmt":"2018-11-05T14:09:10","slug":"2019-we-are-done-with-omisore-sdp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=58672","title":{"rendered":"2019: We Are Done With Omisore \u2013 SDP"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><span class=\"ds-1col file file-image file-image-jpeg view-mode-embedded centered clearfix block-story-object block-story-object-resource block-story-object-resource-image\"><br \/>\n<span class=\"block-story-object-asset\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"media-element file-embedded\" typeof=\"foaf:Image\" src=\"http:\/\/arewa.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/2019-We-Are-Done-With-Omisore-\u2013-SDP.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"container container-pod container-pod-short\"><span class=\"adunit-parent hide block-module block-module-ad block-module-ad-300x250\"><span class=\"block-module-image-wrapper\"><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Atakunmosa West Local Government Council of Osun State has dumped the party\u2019s gubernatorial candidate in the just concluded governorship election, Senator Iyiola Omisore.<\/p>\n<p>It also endorsed the Osun East senatorial candidature of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)\u2019s Chief Francis Fadahunsi in the forthcoming general election.<\/p>\n<p>The party chairman in the area, Chief Joshua Ogunleye, made this known to newsmen on Sunday when Adenigba Fadahunsi and his team visited his home in Osun.<\/p>\n<p>Ogunleye said the party was done with Senator Iyiola Omisore in the area.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe deal that SDP in the local government had with Omisore was terminated with the last gubernatorial election,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He stressed that the SDP was ready to work with the PDP candidate to ensure victory at the poll.<\/p>\n<p>The SDP leader then solicited for the support of his followers for the PDP candidate, noting he was capable of transforming the zone.<\/p>\n<p>In his response, Prince Fadahunsi recalled past dealings with Ogunleye and commended his host for his commitment to the welfare of his people.<\/p>\n<p>Fadahunshi assured him that his place in PDP was always secured, and that the party would continue to accord him respect.<\/p>\n<p>The former customs boss who also pleaded with SDP leaders to return to PDP, said: \u201cPlease, let\u2019s return home and together, we shall rescue our land from the invaders.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The event was witnessed by the local and ward Executive of the SDP in Atakumosa East local government.<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Atakunmosa West Local Government Council of Osun State has dumped the party\u2019s gubernatorial candidate in the just concluded governorship election, Senator Iyiola Omisore.
