The Minister for Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola has said his Ministry won\u2019t fund President Muhammadu Buhari\u2019s 2019 Presidential campaign.<\/p>\n

Fashola declared that he won\u2019t use tax payers\u2019 money to fund the President\u2019s campaign.<\/p>\n

He made the remark while speaking in Sokoto at a 2-day retreat for Management staff of the Ministry, at the weekend.<\/p>\n

The former Lagos State governor disclosed that he has gotten dozens of requests from political organizations requesting for campaign funds for Buhari\u2019s 2019 campaign.<\/p>\n

According to Fashola, \u201cCertainly not under my watch, this will happen not. We never did it and we will not do it.<\/p>\n

\u201cCampaign needs money but members of the Public must understand that government is not a place for people who want to play politics to expect that funding will come from.\u201d\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
