{"id":57019,"date":"2018-10-31T11:26:54","date_gmt":"2018-10-31T10:26:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=57019"},"modified":"2018-10-31T11:26:58","modified_gmt":"2018-10-31T10:26:58","slug":"apc-ambode-meets-sanwo-olu-forms-unified-campaign-team","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=57019","title":{"rendered":"APC: Ambode meets Sanwo-Olu, forms unified campaign team"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State and the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, met on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting held at the Government House in Alausa.<\/p>\n<p>Among others in attendance were former Lagos West APC Vice chairman, Cardinal James Odunbaku and Femi Hamzat, a former commissioner for Works who stepped down for Sanwo-Olu ahead of the party\u2019s primaries.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-618597\" src=\"http:\/\/arewa.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/APC-Ambode-meets-Sanwo-Olu-forms-unified-campaign-team.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1080\" height=\"789\"><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Ambode and Sanwo-Olu have collapsed their campaign teams.<\/p>\n<p>They have floated a new group, Independent Campaign Group, ICG.<\/p>\n<p>The groups, which harmonized their structures were the Buhari and Osinbajo Campaign Support Group, BOCSG, Ambode Mandate Support Group, AMSG and Babajide Olusola Campaign Organization, BOSCO.<\/p>\n<p>ICG would be led by Asiwaju Bola Tinubu\u2019s former Chief Detail, Mr. Tayo Ayinde, who was until the merger, Director-General of BOSCO; Odunbaku would act as his deputy.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-618595\" src=\"http:\/\/arewa.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/1540946400_438_APC-Ambode-meets-Sanwo-Olu-forms-unified-campaign-team.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1080\" height=\"654\"><\/p>\n<p>Others on the list include former chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Lagos State, Mr. Moshood Salvador, who was named as Assistant Director-General from West Senatorial District; Wahab Alawiye-King will serve as Assistant Director General, Lagos Central Senatorial District, and others.\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State and the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, met on Tuesday.
