{"id":52706,"date":"2018-10-16T13:29:53","date_gmt":"2018-10-16T12:29:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=52706"},"modified":"2018-10-16T13:46:27","modified_gmt":"2018-10-16T12:46:27","slug":"im-going-to-efcc-with-my-bedclothes-pillowcase-and-bible-fayose","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=52706","title":{"rendered":"I&#8217;m going to EFCC with my bedclothes, pillowcase and Bible &#8211; Fayose"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/arewa.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/ayo-fayose.jpg\"><\/p>\n<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">The outgoing Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has said that he was going to the office of the Economic and Financial Crime, EFCC, today with his bedclothes, pillowcase, English and Yoruba bibles.<\/p>\n<p>Fayose\u2019s tenure expired midnight on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>The Governor\u2019s immunity ends along with his tenure and he has been invited to the headquarters of the EFCC.<\/p>\n<p>Fayose will be answering to allegations that he received about N1.3bn from the Office of the National Security Adviser, NSA through the then Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro.<\/p>\n<p>Fayose told reporters in Abuja \u201cI will be there on Tuesday. I am not begging for any bail. It is up to them. If they want me, they should just give me a bed<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have done by bed bedclothes, I have done my pillowcase, I have my English and Yoruba bibles.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am prepared for them. Nobody should worry about me.
