<\/p>\nReacting to Atiku\u2019s promise to reward those who contested the presidential ticket with him, Saraki said the comment \u201cshows we now have a politician as an incoming president.\u201d<\/p>\n
Saraki called on President Muhammadu Buhari to quit \u201cnow now,\u201d to pave way for the assumption of office by Atiku, \u201cnow now.\u201d<\/p>\n
Sarki said this during the gathering of the PDP BoT members with the presidential candidate Atiku, in Abuja on Friday.<\/p>\n
He said, \u201cBuhari must go, now, now, now! His Excellency, Atiku Abubakar, should come in now, now, now!<\/p>\n
\u201cTo hear the Presidential candidate speak of rewarding members shows we now have a politician as an incoming president.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt gives us the tonic to go out to the field and perform. I can assure you, on behalf of the BOT members that we will give you our total support.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe meeting with former contestants in the convention, gubernatorial aspirants and stakeholders is sending a strong message across the country that we are united. Just one thing is remaining which to remove the President.\u201d<\/p>\n
Present at the well-attended meeting were prominent BoT members including Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, erstwhile Kaduna state governor, Ahmed Makarfi, former Katsina state governor, Ibrahim Shema, ex-Aviation Minister, Kema Chikwe, and former Imo state governor, Achike Udenwa.<\/p>\n
