Young Progressive Party (YPP) presidential candidate, Kingsley Moghalu, has reacted to the emergence of former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, as the PDP flag bearer for the 2019 presidential elections.<\/p>\n

Moghalu, in a statement he signed on Tuesday, declared that neither Atiku nor President Muhammadu Buhari can fix Nigeria.<\/p>\n

He said this was because the country needs a generational shift in order for new visions and new ideas to be birthed.<\/p>\n

Moghalu said: \u201cThe birth of a new nation will not come about if we continue to elect the same old recycled politicians who have juggled power between themselves and held the progress of this country captive for so long.<\/p>\n

\u201cNigeria needs a new visionary leader who has the capacity, character and competence to wage a decisive war against poverty, heal Nigeria of its wounds and build a real nation and restore Nigeria\u2019s standing in the world.<\/p>\n

\u201cNeither the failing APC nor the previously failed PDP can provide this level of leadership for our people.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is time for Nigerians to be brave, rise up and vote for a prosperous future for themselves and their children come 2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe 2019 presidential election is about the known past versus the possibility of a better future.<\/p>\n
