Najeem Salaam, Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly on Monday congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on his affirmation as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2019 presidential election.<\/p>\n

Salaam, who made the congratulations in a statement in Osogbo, said he was confident that Buhari would deliver more dividends of democracy to Nigerians.<\/p>\n

He commended the president\u2019s policies and programmes, which he had impacted tremendously on the lives of Nigerians.<\/p>\n

\u201cLike the Anchor Borrower scheme, Trader Moni for petty traders, who never thought that Federal Government could remember them as well as the N-power scheme for the unemployed graduates among others.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTo be candid, this current administration has done creditably well in area of critical infrastructure, economy and security, despite its daunting challenges.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut a lot still need to be done, if our quest to get it right is anything to go by,\u201d Salaam said.<\/p>\n
