Jigawa State Governor-elect, Malam Umar Namadi, said that his victory in last Saturday\u2019s governorship election is a victory for the people of the state.<\/p>\n
Namadi stated this in a statement signed by Special Media and Public Relations to Governor Badaru Abubakar Habibu Nuhu Kila and issued to newsmen on Monday.<\/p>\n
He said his election as governor of Jigawa State is a will of God.<\/p>\n
He expressed his gratitude to the Almighty Allah and people of the state for support and prayers.<\/p>\n
According to him \u201cI was elected not because I am above other candidates but the will of God Whom He gives power to the one He wishes to.\u201d<\/p>\n
He called for prayers from people of the state for discharge of his responsibilities accordingly.<\/p>\n
