Jigawa State Governor, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has stated that he will not leave any liability to the incoming Governor of the State.<\/p>\n
Governor Badaru stated this on Sunday at the flag-off of the All Progressives Congress, APC, campaign in Hadejia.<\/p>\n
He said his major challenge after assuming the leadership of the State was debt liabilities.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen we came in, we inherited over N115 billion debt liabilities of the ongoing projects.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs I am talking to you now, we have so far cleared all the debt liabilities and have done remarkably well in the development of the State.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am sure when Danmodi comes in, he will find it easier to do better than what we have done during our tenure,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Governor Badaru added that, \u201cI almost ran away because of the economic crisis at that time.<\/p>\n
