The Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC), says Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi has assumed duty as the new Resident Electoral Commissioner, (REC), in Yobe State.<\/p>\n
This was contained in a press statement signed by the Head of Voter Education & Publicity Department of the Commission, Rifkatu Duku.<\/p>\n
According to the statement, the new REC is \u201ca veteran and seasoned administrator\u201d who served in many federal agencies in the country.<\/p>\n
The statement added that, until his re-appointment and subsequent deployment to Yobe State, Alhaji Abdullahi was the immediate past INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner of Bauchi State.<\/p>\n
The Commission expressed optimism that his wealth of experience in the service to his fatherland will in no small measure add value to ensure free, fair, credible and all-inclusive elections in Yobe State.<\/p>\n
