{"id":471173,"date":"2022-11-11T09:10:32","date_gmt":"2022-11-11T08:10:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=471173"},"modified":"2022-11-11T09:12:30","modified_gmt":"2022-11-11T08:12:30","slug":"yobe-inec-gets-new-rec","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=471173","title":{"rendered":"YOBE INEC gets new REC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC), says Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi has assumed duty as the new Resident Electoral Commissioner, (REC), in Yobe State.<\/p>\n<p>This was contained in a press statement signed by the Head of Voter Education &amp; Publicity Department of the Commission, Rifkatu Duku.<\/p>\n<p>According to the statement, the new REC is \u201ca veteran and seasoned administrator\u201d who served in many federal agencies in the country.<\/p>\n<p>The statement added that, until his re-appointment and subsequent deployment to Yobe State, Alhaji Abdullahi was the immediate past INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner of Bauchi State.<\/p>\n<p>The Commission expressed optimism that his wealth of experience in the service to his fatherland will in no small measure add value to ensure free, fair, credible and all-inclusive elections in Yobe State.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe wish him a successful stay and pray for a cordial relationship with all stakeholders\u201d, the statement added.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC), says Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi has assumed duty as the new Resident Electoral Commissioner, (REC), in Yobe State.
