{"id":46497,"date":"2018-09-26T17:08:02","date_gmt":"2018-09-26T16:08:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=46497"},"modified":"2018-09-26T17:08:27","modified_gmt":"2018-09-26T16:08:27","slug":"two-men-allegedly-rape-13-year-old-girl","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arewa.ng\/?p=46497","title":{"rendered":"Two men allegedly rape 13-year-old girl"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/arewa.ng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/1517420214_755_crime.jpg\"><\/p>\n<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">A Kano Chief Magistrates\u2019 Court on Wednesday ordered the remand of two men, Ashiru Abdullahi, 36, and Murtala Musa, 24, in prison for allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl.<\/p>\n<p>The defendants, who live at Dan Rimi Quarters, Fagge Local Government Area of Kano State, are facing a two-count charge of criminal conspiracy and rape.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the police prosecutor, Insp. Pogu Lale, had told the court that an information was received at Shahuci Police Station Kano, that the defendants committed the offence on July 9 at Rijiyar Lemo Quarters, Kano.<\/p>\n<p>He said that on the same date at about 9 a.m., the defendants criminally conspired together with one Abubakar, now at large, deceived and lured the 13-year-old girl into the said Abubakar\u2019s room.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe defendants forcefully had unlawful sexual intercourse with the victim one after the other, \u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The defendants, however, denied committing the offences.<\/p>\n<p>Lale said the offences contravened Sections 97 and 283 of the penal code.<\/p>\n<p>The Chief Magistrate, Muhammad Jibril, ordered the suspects be remanded in prison until the next adjourned date.<\/p>\n<p>Jibril, thereafter, adjourned the case to Oct. 9, for further mention.\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Kano Chief Magistrates\u2019 Court on Wednesday ordered the remand of two men, Ashiru Abdullahi, 36, and Murtala Musa, 24, in prison for allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl.
